Why do you need a Red Folder?
A Red Folder makes sense, even without COVID-19, causing so many of us to fall ill and become incapacitated. As we all know full well, life is full of interruptions be it a natural disaster, illness or accident, or simply our memory fails us. After all, who doesn’t need, from time to time, the assist from another.
How successful they were, largely depended on how easily it was to communicate our needs, wants and desires to them while we ourselves were knocked down.
This is why we all need to have the Red Folder or equivalent in place.

Backstory
Red Folder was designed as an online application in the 2013-15 time-frame. Sadly, the application never hit market sustainability, so it was mothballed. The COVID-19 crisis spurred my wife and me to take the concept out of mothballs and make it available, given how many thousands of us are suddenly becoming incapacitated.
The Red Folder provided to us peace of mind. I hope the Red Folder will provide to you that same peace of mind.
The original Red Folder
The original Red Folder was kept in a bookcase in our home. When I was deployed abroad, during my CIA years, I would leave in that folder all the information I thought my wife might need during my absence. The nature of my work did not allow me to always have direct contact with my family, and thus, I wasn’t always available to answer the questions.
It also ensured that my wife had at her fingertips, all the information she needed in the unlikely event I did not return.
